I'm Byoungsam Ko. I have over 9 years of experience as a product designer and product owner at major South Korean tech companies, including Kakao Enterprise, LG CNS, and Lotte Homeshopping.
My UX Philosophy
I believe the most important aspect of UX design is understanding the user's context and needs. I have always approached user experience design with this philosophy in mind.
Through my work experience, I have always conducted user research at the beginning of a project (including user interviews, data analysis, and reviewing previous projects).
I also carefully consider who the stakeholders are. Based on this understanding of user context, I design user experiences and integrate them with new technologies, particularly AI.
Represent ProjectOne of my most notable projects is the Hey Kakao service, used by over 5 million people in South Korea. It is an AI assistant service designed to make users' lives more convenient through voice and text-based interactions.
By analyzing user behavior and identifying hidden needs, I have led expansion projects such as integrating Kakao Map, Hyundai Motors vehicle control, and IoT device voice control.
Through these initiatives, I have connected various aspects of people’s lives using voice and text as the core elements.
